This tour is a unique experience for all nature lovers and those who want to be. The excursion is perfect to get to know Las Galeras and its surroundings. But also for adventurers or just for swimming and relaxing this excursion is perfect.
The boat will take you along the cliffs, where you will be amazed by the beautiful vegetation of the Samana Peninsula. The journey to the beautiful Playa Fronton alone is an experience. Here you have enough time to swim or to explore the coral reef while snorkeling.
You will continue along the coast, visit Playa Madama and Playita before you change from the boat to the buggy. After a first buggy ride you will have the typical Dominican lunch on Monte Azul. The magnificent panoramic view of the Samana Peninsula is a lasting experience.
After lunch, you will spend an hour exploring Dominican life and tropical nature by buggy around the village of Las Galeras.
You will visit a typical Dominican family where you will have a guided tour of the typical crops of the region such as coffee, cacao, bananas, etc. Afterwards, you will receive an introduction to the production of coffee, chocolate, cigars, jigüeras, etc.
After leaving the typical Dominican house, you will drive back to Las Galeras for an hour on dirt roads surrounded by typical vegetation, some of which is dense.
